Yeah. I'm not sure RS will get all that.
Nah, RS won't get any of that.

But so what? You kids are in Rolling Stone: http://copelandia.smugmug.com/photos/35 ... 67Yk-O.jpg

Congratulations to you all for a dark, hazy, backgroundy, coincidental, just-happened-to-be-there inclusion in the annals of print music journalism.
Fucking beautiful. 8)

So, it's in RS??? I got that issue today but was too busy to open it! I will be home late tonight from a Toad the Wet Sprocket show, so it will have to wait.

I just learned that a guy from a band I used to love (broke up) now works 4 RS, so I'll see if I can get in touch w him and what he knows of flaggy.

Flag needs an agent. Seriously. And a manager. And an attorney. And a publicist. Sadly he'll quickly sell out and become unapproachable. But he'll then be at the mercy of the f'ing suits who now control the music industry. Shortly after his landmark record deal, his next album will include all sorts of archaic instruments like lutes. Critics will embrace it, but fans will find it uninspired. Soon flag will find a way out of the suffocating deal and sign with an indy. He'll launch a myspace page and release a few cult hits on iTunes under a psudonym. He'll then find peace by reuniting with the old mates and getting back to his roots. Hang in there flag. We'll always be here for you.

Way cool! But, all I'm thinking is how I've got to get me two copies of RS when it comes out here, one for me and one to supplement my "Drapeau Vert" unit. Yes, I'm actually considering using Rolling Stone magazine as an elementary school teaching aid. Maybe if I just paste a different name over the title on the cover, I'll get away with it. I'm thinking "Le Pierre qui roule" sound innocuous enough.
