Would you all freak out completely if I offered the flag a ride on the band jet?
I think we probably would - but in a good way.

However it would make the logistics stupidly easy, and DM's blood pressure would drop to a dangerously low level as a result.
Wish you all could have been in BA last night – it was aMAzing!
Despite all the stress the BA folk had with tickets beforehand, it sounds like it was worth it and then some. That's the biggest hit of second hand happiness I've had since this started. Thank you!

DM thank you for taking the whole Stewart and the flag thing so well. You are showing great poise in a chaotic moment (even though alot of us don't think it's a big deal, but some are I guess, which is too bad).

Even though the whole flag thing hasn't worked out exactly as you imagined in your head (for the most part better, and perhaps in a few cases worse) at least you have these big facts to declare your project as an amazing success..

1) The flag has safely made it to each of it's locations around the world.

2) Each person has taken pretty good care of it.

3) The flag has now touched the hearts of many many Stew fans.

4) Stewart finally got to see it in person and he is now offering his personal involvement in carrying it! WOW.

I can only hope that everyone calms down and realizes this actually was the best thing that could've happened with the flag. I know what you originally had planned (him not touching it) didn't work out, but as you know, life throws you curveballs. Just take the pitch and move on. I do appreciate your personal post about it and how humble you are staying.

Keep your chin up and please continue this beautiful act of sharing the flag with the world. It's truly amazing.

Sincerely,

cp

Great post!
This confirms that the Flag issue is about devotion, never forget it, and that Stewart touching the Flag is a kind of blessing.

Let's all keep the beat my Stehead!

(thank you boss!)

Thank you, Stewart!! This tour has been a great ride, for the fans, for the flag, and for you!! :) I loved the joy in your eyes when you were holding the flag for those pictures. :)

Rules or not...it was quite a moment and I'm glad it was captured. :)

Haha, this is brilliant...must we remind you , Chevalier Copeland, that you are a *rockstar*? <grin> If the flag even brings you 1/1000th of the happiness it bring us (all the new friends from scnet and meeting up at the shows), then it's really far beyond anything imagined!

And good call, Dive re: Savannah warning...We aren't joking, STEWART, there will be row upon row of scnet t-shirts there, I think we just about bought out the house. But I do hope a t-shirt will be appropriate attire for the evening and venue <wink>

Of coarse! That would be so cool.

But when you do touch it... wash your hands first, they'll probably be sweaty from drumming.
