Postby policerule on 05 Sep 2007 22:44

hello everyone!

i'm taking orders for flag pledge shirts one more time.

if you are interested, you can email me at bootling@aol.com

just so everyone knows, there is NO profit being made here. you pay what i do. my brother is doing me a favor... he has a screen printing business. what started out as getting them done for me turned into others wanting them as well. some people missed them the first time around, so i'm doing it just once more. lmk if you are interested.

Hi PR,
I'd be interested in getting a shirt. Unfortunately I'm having problems sending email, however I can receive at this point. Therefore, I'd appreciate it if you could email me the details and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks, Laurie :D

Yippe-y!!!
To celebrate in subdued tone, here is a verse from The Taranta:

Aggiu fare l’amore cu ci capisce
e sente a voce mia e la reconosce.

(I want to make love with someone who understands it
who hears my voice and recognizes it).

I bet I am the only person on this site who can sing la Pizzica and understand it! :D

What about the so-called Sicillian supermodel dude who was harassing you over on Dinner Tales? Oh yeah, he wouldn't be able to understand those lyrics either as he was really just a 14 boy from Columbus, Ohio. :)

Actually, I took several semesters of Italian college. What do I remember from those classes? Grappa, Prosecco (is that even spelled right?), and Peronni.

Ha! The Troll God of Sicilian Sex!!! :P :P :P
No, actually this dialect comes from a nearby province so I kind of understand it but it's not the dialect that we speak in my hometown.
A Sicilian certainly would not (or a kid from Ohio!)

Grappa and Prosecco were spelled impeccably, Peroni had an "n" too much.
BTW you know the joke about Peroni? And Italian beer in general?
People say it's like making love in a canoe.
Too close to water.
