Shirts

Postby Omaha_Perez on Tue Jul 18, 2006 5:34 pm

Hey,

Did any body actually receive shirts ordered from this official site? I ordered over a month ago and haven't seen any sign of them. I emailed the contact address sent with the PayPal receipt and haven't heard a word. For the exorbitant prices they charge, you'd think they'd at least answer their emails.

Actually for band shirts, that's a pretty good price.

Although I don't know what's added on with shipping.

Try mentioning your problem in this thread http://milescopeland.net/eve/forums/a/t ... 2751074741 or I'm sure Miles' email is on there somewhere.

Omaha,

Have you tried filing a dispute through Paypal?

You've got me worried now about my own order...

No... I haven't resorted to contacting PayPal yet. I was hoping they would come through and I wouldn't have to. Thanks for the posts, I will post the problem on Miles' board.

Can't get no satisfaction

Hm. I can't get an email to come thru so I can verify my address, and be able to post my insane rantings on OfficialPoliceSite.com.

Anyone else had trouble with this? (Not that I won't still be over here ticklin' the keypad at StewartCopeland.net...just trying to cover all my bases, dontchaknow.)

Police shirts

Postby Omaha_Perez on Thu Jul 27, 2006 11:43 pm

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I contacted Miles' site with my order problem and received an immediate response from a nice woman named Claudia. She very quickly resolved the problem. I received the shirts a few days ago and they look great!

That's cool, Omaha. Can you tell me where/who you contacted on the site? I'd like to be able to get some news on my own order from there as well.

The great idea would be an official T-shirt with "Everyone Stares..." DVD cover on it !!! what do ya think ?

I've got a pair of Police T-shirts I bought many years ago: Reggatta, Zennyatta, Ghost, the one with the famous pic showing the 3 policemen wearing sunglasses during the Sync area, a few others maybe "non official" + an IRS T-shirt I bought in Sting/Police fan-club in London.... but I should take them out from their boxes and wash them :?
Mmmm good !!! I'm gonna fart in japanese !

Just as an update...

2 days after filing a PayPal dispute, and 2 hours after leaving a voice mail that I was about to escalate it to a PayPal claim if I did not receive an update on my t-shirt order, I *finally* got my first communication from the t-shirt vendor on the Official site that my order is now being shipped. :? This is the first communication I received from them in the 6 weeks since I ordered the shirts.

I wouldn't be so annoyed about it except that it was nearly a $100 order, and that's a lot of money for me to just toss out and never hear back about.

Anyway...I hope when the official site reopens (for good?) that they'll have their customer service issues worked out. Right now I'm feeling kind of hesitant about ordering anything from them again any time soon...

I was waiting to find out how your guys' orders went before I went ahead and ordered.

Probably better if I don't order then...

As it turns out, I'm only getting 2 of the 4 shirts I ordered - the other two are "out of stock". I was asked if I wanted to wait on them or just get my money back - I asked for the money at this point.

Of course, I was not refunded anything on the rather outrageous shipping I was charged ($17 for 4 t-shirts), even though I'm only getting half of what I ordered.

I'll be happy enough to get what I can at this point, but believe me...I am not going to be ordering again from there if/when the Official Site store reopens.

Andy and I took this site down because it was NOT an official site. I hope nobody got burned.
